Turkey has seen a rise in terrorist attacks in recent times since the unsuccessful coup against President Erdogan. A gunman armed with what seems to be an AK47 assault rifle killed 39 people and left 69 people injured on New Year’s Eve at Reina nightclub. A massive manhunt has ensued since the gunman slipped away amidst all the chaos after the tragic incidents. Mainstream media is reporting that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
